When did drawing start taking so long? I did the face and hand and was just too tired for the detail work in the kimono so I used some scrapbook paper- I don't know if cutting all of that was really any faster. reference:[link]
yeah, got it from the same reference as yours on Flickr. Have you been to her photostreme yet? It's all Geisha photos and they are really lovely. It might help you with your current subject of interest.

I use www.flickr.com and their explore feature. You end up with alot less junk and more specific results. If you get a free membership you can start a favorites pile that- in my case allows me to keep things for future reference without downloading them. You can of course do the same thing on the DA with the stock photos- but here especially you have to reference the original and notify the photographer/stock provider.
