When did drawing start taking so long? I did the face and hand and was just too tired for the detail work in the kimono so I used some scrapbook paper- I don't know if cutting all of that was really any faster.
Nice work, I like this a lot. Great use of the paper, colors and design. From your stomping grounds. HI
I love mixed-media c: quicker or not, it looks great this way
this is great !
yeah, got it from the same reference as yours on Flickr. Have you been to her photostreme yet? It's all Geisha photos and they are really lovely. It might help you with your current subject of interest.
I see that you know verry well your reference author I don't have mines I just search on google for pictures, but I will gladly see the site you speak of, Thank you so much !!!!
I use www.flickr.com and their explore feature. You end up with alot less junk and more specific results. If you get a free membership you can start a favorites pile that- in my case allows me to keep things for future reference without downloading them. You can of course do the same thing on the DA with the stock photos- but here especially you have to reference the original and notify the photographer/stock provider.
This is beautiful. I love all the detail both in your drawing and the scrapbook paper. You have brought it together wonderfully. Well done.
Thank you, it took quite a while to pick the paper so that there weren't any darks or intense colors that might wash out the drawing. I'm please with the result.
i did this in my art class, a very good idea indeed, ay
Still looks amazing!
